Take me to the river...

After the success of Summit's first trip in the water last weekend during our hike, we decided to take her to the park and river downtown this afternoon. She had so much fun running in the river, playing with the other dogs and coming back to me for the occasional snack break.

After we were done at the river, we decided to walk around lower downtown a bit. Summit really, really wanted to go in the bookstore but we had to convince her that probably wasn't the best idea.

We walked up to Larimer Square, shared a little gelato and headed home for our naps.

    Love that playful puppy!!! We will have to get Summit and Paper together for a play date. But I must admit the last picture makes me laugh. Summit is leaning on Mike's leg, but the gelato is in your hand. It looks like either Mike has a really girly hand or you have a really hairy leg!!! HAHAHAHA. I love it.
