Merry Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas! We had a very nice low-key Christmas in Colorado this year. My parents joined us in time for Christmas Eve services at Mission Hills.

Not having any human kids to celebrate with, our Summit was definitely the centerpiece of our Christmas morning celebration. She woke up excited (which is normal, she's always excited for breakfast in the morning). We went down stairs and gave her breakfast. She normally calms down after that but not Christmas morning! She ran back and forth between me and the Christmas tree.

"mom is it time yet? Is it time to open my presents yet???"

first you have to take a picture in our matching pjs (that match Aunt Dayna, Cousin Maggie and Cousin Nora's pjs in North Carolina)

finally she gets to start opening! This puppy LOVES unwrapping gifts.

Mike and PapaT enjoy watching her.

we had fun opening our gifts too.

then we got to share Christmas with Dayna's family via Skype.

and I got to watch Maggie open and try out the new rollerskates I got her for Christmas :)

we had a great Christmas morning.

all the unwrapping and playing with ALL her new toys wore Summit out! Thank you everyone for her new toys and treats!

We made a healthy Christmas dinner together.

After dinner we played some games.

Then Mom and I went driving around looking at Christmas lights. We found this gingerbread house which was our undeniable favorite.

We especially love hearing from so many friends and family this time of year!
